Perdormance using huge pages

We are now in process of migrating all our databases to Linux. We are planning to taking advantage of huge page settings for sga to improve performance. But we hear that it may not be the useful in all situations. Can you let us know from your experience if you have benefited or not from allocating huge pages for sga.
