Expected function of MSC: Buy Order Processing Lead Time Calendar profile option

Hi -

We have set the profile option MSC: Buy Order Processing Lead Time Calendar to NULL at the site level.  With this setting, we expect planning to plan Buy Items according to a 24x7 calendar.  In other words, we expect the due dates of the Buy Items to be calculated based on the dock date + postprocessing lead time where the postprocessing lead time includes the weekends.

For example, the manufacturing calendar for an org is set to 5 days on/2 days off (typical M-F workweek).  The postprocessing lead time for an item is 30 days.  The Need By Date for the item on a PO is Jan 1, 2013; i.e Dock date = Nov 1.  We expect Planning to recommend a Due Date of Jan 1 + 30 days = Jan 31.  Instead we are seeing a Due Date of Feb 12, 2013.  Is this expected functionality?  We can see this being expected funcationality if we set MSC: Buy Order Processing Lead Time Calendar = Org Manufacturing Calendar, but not when

Howdy, Stranger!
