Manual OCM installation on Solaris 10
I've been learning how to manually install OCM (in video tutorial of MOS Collector tab)and on Install Oracle Configuration Manager's Standalone Collector.
But I still have the following doubt which seems quickly answered on the tutorial video that I'd like to make sure.
When I have no ORACLE_HOME or JAVA_HOME setup, must I:
But I still have the following doubt which seems quickly answered on the tutorial video that I'd like to make sure.
When I have no ORACLE_HOME or JAVA_HOME setup, must I:
- Extract the OCM zip in / for the ccr be create as /ccr ?
- I've setup through a CLI export JAVA_HOME=/usr/java before ./setupCCR, which seems to work, at least for the installation.
Is that enough or does the environment variable must be set across reboots?
