Update Parent field

Hi

We have a requirment to update the parent custom field.

The requirment is for the record type Activity- Attachments. At Activity level we have a custom field called "Attachments". This is a boolen field. The requirment is when we have at least one attachment record created, the custom field (Attachments) at activity level should be updated to true.

Since this being a cutsom field we are not in getting in available fields. Could you please help in achieving this requirment
