SUI (State Unemployment Insurance) file rejected

edited Nov 1, 2012 4:20AM in JDEdwards World (MOSC)
Q:  Why would a SUI file be rejected by the state?

A:  From time to time, states will change the SUI file specifications (adding more fields and/or subtracting fields).  When this happenes, JD Edwards will have to modify the SUI programs to be in sync with the new state specificiations.  This modification is usually implemented through an enhancement bug.  When the bug is completed, it will be included in the Quarterly SUI Software update.  If you don't  install the SUI update quarterly, your SUI file will contain old file specificiations that the states will no long accept.  Please visit solution
