Purge data in Oracle Financial Modules

Dear Guru's,
I have a request for Purging the Old Data in Oracle Financials from one of our users.

Can anybody share any documents, on what should be the prerequestes & process of purging data and how to do it.

I have a requirement of purging data from following modules.

Oracle Financials : AP, AR, GL, FA, CM
Oracle Projects,
Purchasing
Inventory
Discrete Manufacturing
Core HRMS
Oracle Telesales.

Please, let me know the Process.
