Oracle SLM - Approved Category gets added to ASL in Oracle SLM but does not gets integrated with Ora

 Hi,I have run the Item Qualification RFI process, wherein I have added a RFI line with Item Category. After closing RFI, I have approved the category. And after completing RFI, the approved category gets associated with Oracle SLM Approved Supplier List (ASL) automatically. However this category does not gets automatically added to ASL maintained in Oracle Purchasing. This simply adds an additional step to integrate it with Purchasing.

One can take care of this through the customization of workflow by adding an Event and simply updating Oracle Purchasing. But the question here is why is this integration not there. Was there a business reason why this integration was not built.
