Job Cost Issue

 Hi,Is anyone out there has implemented Job cost module ? 
I went through the Job Cost documentation and tried to implement the process in DV but didn't got correctly I setup the Job master, budget, chart type, job schedule but when I try to see the commitments,  job progress and profit recognition, I don't get the expected result in any of them, I was actually looking for something step by step process which can explain me how the system is working for Job cost.
