Created By / Posted By User on Reversing Journals

We are on EBS R12 (12.0.6).  When I open a GL period, reversing journals are automatically created and posted in the newly-opened GL period.  But the Created By and Posted By user for these reversing journals is me, not the user(s) who created the original journals in the previous GL period.

Does R12 offer any option to make the Created By user of reversing journals be the creator of the original (prior period) journal?  And same with the Posted By user?

Our auditors ultimately choose some of these reversing journals in their test samples and come to me looking for supporting evidence of those reversals.  I didn't really create those journals . . . I just opened the GL period!
