Upgrade OVM from 3.0.3 to 3.1.1 - anyone?

Hi
we need to upgrade our 3.0.3 servers to 3.1.1 we had setup our oracle VM Manager server as yum server and backed up ovm schema and config

but I have doubts in the order we should make the steps

when I should register the yum server in the oracle vm manager web interface? after we upgrade the vm manager itself or before?

how should i know if the yum is registering right, in the manager no info is giving regarding the yum server is right or not?

has anyone do this before?

any info on this is greatly appreciated
