R12 Payables : Addition of Custom Parameter to replica of Account Analysis Report (XLAARPT) ??

Hi there,

While working on BI reports we have encountered an issue. To understand the issue we need clarififcations on below:

1.Why does the standard program offers custom parameters like P_CUSTOM_PARAMETER_2,P_CUSTOM_PARAMETER_3 ??Are they somehow realted to the Java Class ??

2.If developer adds a new  custom parameter  P_NEW as per requirements, what necessary changes should be made apart from declaring this in data definition xml and refrencing it in the PL/SQL package ??Does JAVA code needs a change for this ??
