XML Publisher Check - MICR issue

We have about 7 XML publisher checks that we've been using successfully for years.  We recently created a new one for a brand new back account.  I set up all the accounts, formats, documents, etc to match the others.  When we generate the XML for the new check the C_MICR_STRING in the XML output contains: "<C_MICR_STRING>/2/ &amp;031301846&amp; 539007542/</C_MICR_STRING>" and prints on the check incorrectly (the number are in MICR, but the slashes and ampersands are printing and should not be)

In a "normal" check run, the C_MICR_STRING looks like this: " <C_MICR_STRING>&lt;171839&lt; :031100047: 2=947 182&lt; </C_MICR_STRING>" and this prints out a correct MICR line.
