Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Teleservice - EBS (MOSC)

Default Note Type

I am trying to change the default note type in our test instance for the three areas within the Service Request where notes can be created.

Workbench
Log and Notes
Tools > Notes

I have so far tried changing at the site level these three profile options:

Notes:Default Note Type

Default note type for agent comments

Service: Default New Note Type in Workbench Tab

That did not work so I tried placing them at the Application level instead (Service & Support). Still no luck.

I’m still seeing a default on the Workbench and Log and Notes for a note type that I end dated and remapped to a new Object type.
