Clawbacks/Givebacks not calculating correctly

We have plans where an AE's rate will vary for the same plan element from one quarter to the next.  As a result of the changing rates....and due to the fact that OIC's calcs are driven off of the processed date.....we are currently experiencing a problem in that the Clawbacks and Givebacks are often times calculating at a rate different than what they received commission on.....has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, how did they get it resolved ??
