Inventory Adjustment based on Work Order

Hi,
We have some excess materials in some of the Manufacturing Work Orders.
Shop floor needs to return the same without making -ve entry in the Inventory issue.

There is any possibility that, Inventory Adjustment can be mapped with Work Orders ?

Or any other best practices can be adhered ?

Kindly treat this as most urgent please.
