Testing Fall Semester to Spring Semester Transition

 I have a client who is asking Oracle On Demand to change the system date for their Portal and Campus Solutions Environments from current date to a future date (12/18/12 and then again to 1/1/13).  The reason the client is asking to make this change is so that they can test all their processes in Campus Solutions to make sure everything "flows" into the Spring Semester without any issues.  This is a non standard On Demand request, does any one have other suggestions on how to test Fall to Spring transition for all processes without changing the Operating System date?
