Listener logs not being purged.

Folks, I have in earnest tried to search for a solution on this one.  However I am not having success so I thought I would post here in hopes it may benefit others.  The short version is quite simple.  I have the exact same problem as posted here:

I have what I would consider a pretty default, non-RAC, install.  ADR is purging my alert logs fine, but not my listener logs automatically.  For both homes I have SHORTP_POLICY & LONGP_POLICY set. However, the listener log files never get automatically purged.

The above link provides an pretty easy work around, but I really want to avoid scripting/scheduling am ADR manual cleanup as ADR should be able to do it automatically.
