PMON failed to acquire latch, see PMON dump

Dear all,

We are using Oracle 10.1.0.2.0 Server standard edition in Windows 2003 Server

The Machine has memory 1GB.

and machine gets hang after 1 or 2 days and at that time i am getting below error

"PMON failed to acquire latch, see PMON dump
PMON failed to acquire latch, see PMON dump
Mon Nov 05 15:06:05 2012
Timed out trying to start process q002.
Mon Nov 05 15:06:05 2012
PMON failed to acquire latch, see PMON dump"

Also we have seen error in alert log

"ORA-04031: unable to allocate 27996 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","sga heap(1,0)","session parame")"

What it indicates and what is the solution of this problem?
