Port 5988 TIME_WAIT

 Dear All,

In one of the Solaris X86 server Port 5988 listening and we telnet to the IP Address with port 5988 the port is  established. When we disconnect the telnet session  netstat -an it shows its not coming back to listening status.

Please kindly look into the attachments

I attempted to manually connect to the WTKOMM1-WBEM’s IP address 10.192.176.68 port 5988 and I am getting the following: 

tmn02[netboss]/opt/home/netboss% telnet 10.192.176.68 5988

Trying 10.192.176.68...

telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

tmn02[netboss]/opt/home/netboss% 

I attempted this from both tmn01 & tmn02. And I get the same results. I can definitely ping the IP address on from servers,
