Purge Cost Informaton and Purge Standard Cost Update History

Hi,

 we are planning to perform cost maintenance activities which include running the above two program to purge costing data.  In this context, are there any caveats, what checks and balances we need to put in place and how we validate the results before executing this in production.

Any feedback from members will be greatly appreciated.
