Why PO cannot be approved directly from email notification by clicking hyperlink 'Approve'?

Hi, ALL,
R : 11.5.10.2

Ct wants to approve PO directly from email notification.
But PO does not got approved by hitting hyperlink 'Approve', instead, it launches an email.

Is this normal? Why didn't  notification work? Is there some setups needed to be done before that?
Please advise accordingly.
