Installing ASM for for ajn Oracle Instance

I hope I choose the correct community. I have a Linus server with three database instances. I installed an ASM instance on this server. Each of the four servers has a different Linus OS owner. I am trying to understand how to work security. None of my Oracle instances can see my ASM datagroup. It is my understanding that a single ASM instance can support n number of Oracle databases. My ASM instance has to have a unique os owner due to its unique home and SID. How do I configure so that all database instances can use ASM?
