Undesired PO Closure - Action history also shows "Close status rolled up".

 We have 100's of purchase orders which got closed in error. They are not :- Fully Received 
- Fully Billed .
but still show up as closed at both line and header level. The action history also shows "Close status rolled up".
Please let us know if there's a known bug which may be causing this data corruption
