Automatically add item B to requisition when item A is ordered

We have a situation where we purchase an item from our supplier that can be customized (example: a shirt that is embroidered with employee's name).  The supplier requires one item for the product and one item for the customization.  Is there any way to add the 2nd item automatically to the requisition whenever the first item is ordered (the item is always customized).  The item needs to display at the time of entry so the employee can enter the name that needs to be added to the product.  I have done this in OM through configurator or pricing but never
