Generate WO from Sales order when inv qty = 0

Hi,
in 11i. discrete manufacturing.

Consider a manufactured item.
Qty in inventory =0.
Create a sales order in OM.

I'd like to have the system generate automatically a WO (work order), as there is no availability.

Is it possible ?
