RMA SO not in Item Supply/Demand form

Hi,

    Why does an RMA sales order not show as supply in Item Supply/Demand  form in Inventory . Normally a standard sales order will show as demand(-ve) and a purchase order shows as  supply(+ve). We expect it to show as supply in the form once booked. Not many times a customer will be returning  damaged goods. They may be returning for various other reason. Do we have any option to enable so that they appear on the form or is it standard functionality not to show on the form. Will any customization help. Please help.
