Can Supplier items be used in Buy/Sell Subcontracting (Oracle Subcontracting)

 Hello,
We are exploring the Oracle subcontracting module for our outsourced assemblies. 

Oracle Subcontracting (Buy/Sell Subcontracting)

I understand that Original Equipment Manufacturer should buy all the component and supply it to the Manufacturing Partner. 

Our business case/requirement is that we supply partial items to the manufacturing partner and the Manufacturing partner buys some material and latter bills our organization. 

My question is that can this business requirement/case be satisfies using Buy/sell Subcontracting?
