Extending the Appriasal End Date

Hello,

We need to extend the Appraisal end date by one week. I updated the performance management plan and went to the ‘Appraisal Task End Date’ field, and adjusted the date. Then selected the republish option to 're-evaluate the plan population' and clicked on Publish. I got an error message that said "Appraisal Period Task Start cannot be before System Date.”

 

I am forced to change the Appraisal period Task Start Date to sysdate and then I can re-publish the plan successfully.

 

Can anyone confirm that this is the correct method to extend the appraisal period and that there is no impact on the appraisals that are currently in-progress.
