When creating custom webadi integrator , "Save to form function" is grayed out

Hi,

I have created custom integrator and custom layout and when i want to save it as a function to further attach it to a Menu , i see that the Save to form function check box is grayed out.

Could you please let us know as to why this is grayed out.

I am also attaching a screen shot of the same.
