Changing life in Tax Books only

Hi All,

We are in 11i. We have a requirement from business to change life of asset in Tax Books only. When I try to change the life in the asset workbench for Tax books it gives me the error message "You have made no changes that you need to commit". Has anyone done this before. What is the workaround to change life of asset in Tax Books.
