Populate Receivable Application DFF via Lockbox

We are looking for a way to pass data from lockbox file to a DFF configured under 'Receipt Applicaiton Information' at the application line level. I am able to pass information to the receipt header level but really need the application line level. Oracle has an enhancement request for this but I'm wondering if any other users have this issue and how they have worked around it.
