IE 9 on CRM 7.8

My client referenced Doc ID 1307383.1 Siebel Support fo Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) and asked the following; "This document did not mention anything about IE9 with Siebel (7.8) which we are very much anxious to know."  Any suggestions, I know 7.8 is in extened support until July 2013 and form the lifetime Support Policies that "Extended Support may not include certification with some new third-party products/versions."    Any suggestions?
