reversing journal when source is frozen

Hi

We want to be able to auto reverse our payroll accrual journals. The journal source "payroll' is frozen and we want to keep it frozen and dont want to have unfreeze it to reverse the journals. Is there a way we can auto reverse the journal without having to unfreeze manually e.g. some sort of trigger

We are on 12.1.2
