Generate Approval on Cloned Objects

Dear all,

Can we impliment Approvals for cloned objects. When we  tried using the Generate Approval from Quote Menu, it throws an error " The Specialized Method 'ApproveItem' is not supported on Business Component "XXXQuote"

Can any one have idea on this. If it is supported, may I have the referance document which talks about this implimentation onhow to do this?

I have already reviewed the doc: " How Quotes, Orders, and Agreements Are Approved Using the ISS Approval Business Service in Siebel Version 7.8 and above (Doc ID 475324.1)" , but it does not helped me much.
