Is it possible to exclude data from "record merge" in Siebel

Hi All,

we are using the "record merge" feature in Siebel to merge duplicate account records.

During this process, Siebel automatically associates child records from the losing account record to the winning account record. Basically all BCs which do have a MVL defined from BC Account are being associated to the winner.

However we want to exclude a BC from being merged. Is this possible?

background: We have a custom MVL to "discounts". Discounts from the Loser should not be associated with the winner. otherwise, the resulting account has several different discount conditions.

Anyone knows how this could be achieved?
