File system in Exadata

In ORACLE exadata, only DBFS can be used for file transfer and stroe the application no-DB data file or  applications' codes. In normal ORACLE 11G in Linux, it can be ACFS instead of  DBFS.

The main problme we faced is DBFS has to be within  one database instance, and when the database instance down, the DBFS will not be avaliable,

Had anyone try to create ACFS in Exadata BOX ? I did not see any dependency on the hardware and stop ACFS in exadata box since it has ASM instance running in every node.
