LCM Impact after upgrade

Dear all, 

We  have recently upgraded from 11i to R12.1.3 , daily operations are in place , now my client wishes to use LCM for the existing setup can any one suggest the impact after enabling the LCM check box on an existing Inventory ORG and the status of  open PO and the costing impact caused due to enabling LCM .
