PICK RELEASE METHODS

hi i am very new person in the OM module .. i have read from the student guide that pick realease can be done in one, two and three processes o the basis of which we can do so but still i am in the way to cater ..!!kindly tell me the basis procedure behind the pick release ... what are the possible setups required for this and so on plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
