ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY TO APPLIED ON ALL STANDBY

Hi Gurus,

I have a 3 node 11.2.0.3 RAC production set up on Linux RHEL5 which is running as a Primary database. I have its Physical Standby database as a 2 node RAC 11.2.0.3 again running on Linux RHEL5. I take my RMAN backups to tape as well as to FRA but only at the Primary. Also I have a catalog database where both primary and standby databases are registered with the db_unique names. Archivelogs are getting generated to the FRA.

I have the following settings on the Primary database for RMAN:

1. CONFIGURE RETENTION POLICY TO RECOVERY WINDOW OF 30 DAYS;

2. CONFIGURE DEFAULT DEVICE TYPE TO DISK;
