FTP options on ODA

First please forgive me as I am not very familiar with Linux.  We are configuring an ODA and I am able to sftp between both servers just fine.  I have downloaded WINSCP and I am able to use that to transfer files between my Windows laptop and the ODA.  We have the need to just ftp between servers and I am wondering what I can do to enable or install the ability to ftp.  I realize sftp is more secure.  I modified the gssftp file in /etc/xinet.d and was able to ftp as the root user to the server.  I
