Temp files not removed after bursting to printer

We are running bi publisher 10.1.3.4.1 patch 12574209.

Everytime we burst a report directly to the printer, a xdo*.tmp file is created in the system temp directory (/tmp) on our BI Publisher server. And these temp files are not removed after the report is done.

I tried to remove the file but the java process is holding the file handles and would not release the disk space. Until we restart BI Publisher.
I know we can redirect the temp directory in the JDBC setting to somewhere having a bigger disk, but since there is no way to cleanup the files until reboot, the space will eventually be filled up.
