Creating a Product in PeopleSoft

Hi,

Need clarification on Product creation process in PeopleSoft.

When a user creates a Product in PeopleSoft via navigation Main Menu > Products > Identify Product details > Definition, and mark the Product status as ACTIVE, then the Product can be accessed/used across all modules.

Is there a way to pass the Product information for Approval before the same is used across modules? If yes, how?

The PeopleSoft version is FSCM 9.1 and Tools version is 8.52.

Please clarify.
