Hotbackup takes long timer

Hi All,

Our Oracle E-Business suite(11i) production has old conventional hotbackup set. This backup used to take 7 hrs to complete

However, i see it takes 14 to 15hrs for last few days and not sure why suddenly taking such long time.

there was no changes made other than autoextend on  one of the datafile. I went through alert logs and found no errors/warnings

Anybody can throw some tips on troubleshooting this issue with steps etc.,
