EDI 850 Inbound tables

We are currently using F4001Z & F4011Z in A73 to process EDI orders.  We are in the middle of an upgrade to A9.3.  In past lives, I always used F47 tables.  The z files are currently working for us, but is there specific added functionality in using the F47 tables?
