Fiscal Calendar Type

If you have Custom Fiscal Calendar selected as your Fiscal Calendar Type does it overwrite the Fiscal Year Start Month and Fiscal Year Start Date for reporting and pipeline analysis?

For example:

Our Custom Fiscal Calendar begins in October in the Fiscal Calendar Definitions.

The Fiscal Year Start Month begins in January in Customer Admin.

For reporting does it recognize October or January as the beginning of our Fiscal Year.
