Creating Reports - Utilizing different Active Subject Area objects

Hello Everyone,

Has anyone else encountered the need to use a custome object field that is stored in a different Acitve Subject Area. For example, I'm trying to create a report to track who is creates Contacts, however the Created by in contacts is empty (no data) and that information is stored under the User Active Subject Area. Is there any way to pull the Created By field from the User into Contacts?
