Can credits from history be utlized with interbranch orders?

When we create a credit from history from a sales order that had an interbranch order/invoice associated with it, the credit amount to the customer is not correct.

We are creating two invoices are created originally an RI and an RT (interbranch) and using the RI to locate the order to credit.  The extended price on the RI does not match the extended price on the CR.  Any tips on this set up or processing?  Thanks.
