tools / server patch difference

Are there any issues, if we compile SRF on a Tools and replace it on Siebel application server where Tools and Siebel server patch is difference. ( Tools 8.1.1.5 & Siebel server 8.1.1.8). As of now we don't see any issues...

This tools is only for SRF compilation not for performing any devlopment / configuration work.    Please do let me know your thoughts.
