SSL webserver registration

I have generated self signed PrivateKey and cerificate with opnessl OS command. My requirment is to enable SSL between Siebel OM and web server.I have copied these certificates and key to the web server /config directory and restarted the web server (OHS 11g). But when verifyied https://webserver:port I'm getting page can not be displayed error.

what I would like to know is there any changes that I need to perform on web server side...such as updating httpd.conf or ssl.conf files...If yes, please let me know. ....https://webserver:port should display the page.
