AIP/SRP Poisson Replenishment Method
Hi all,
In Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning: Store Replenishment Planning User Guide 13.2, I have found Poisson Replenishment method which I'd like to check.
On the page 6-32 there is a formula SSS=LookupFunction(FDRT, SL).
It says that we have Forecast (Forecast Demanded over Review Time) and Service Level (SL) as input parameters in Poisson table and get Statistical Safety Stock (SSS) as an output.
My question is how exactly do we apply those parameters to find SSS?
Do we use FDRT as lambda, SL as table value and get SSS as k (or do those parameters have different relation)?
